We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. 

To start a return, please contact us at hello@eco-homemaker.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

The Lomi exterior is made of recyclable plastic and the interior parts are made of metal.

Lomi has three different modes, giving you the freedom to choose the one that best suits your needs.

Eco-Express: This mode is meant for general cooked or raw food waste and is the best mode for those wanting the fastest result and lowest energy consumption. This mode takes 3-5 hours to complete. You can add this to your green-bin (if your community has this program), or you can add it to the next cycle that you run with Lomi! 

Lomi Approved: This mode is meant for food waste, bioplastics and Lomi Approved packaging and products. We recommend a ratio of 1:10 bioplastics to food waste and to make sure that you use a LomiPod when running this mode. 5-8 hours

Grow Mode: This mode is meant only for fruit and vegetable waste and cannot process bioplastics or processed/cooked foods.
This mode runs at a low heat setting to preserve the microorganisms that are beneficial in creating nutrient rich dirt. Be sure to add a LomiPod when running this mode for best results. 16-20 hours.

Make sure to store Lomi Pods in a cool, dry place and avoid humidity as you would any other tablet. Stored properly, Lomi Pods will last three years. Remember to keep out of reach of pets and kids.

Simply add a Lomi Pod on top of your food waste/bioplastics in the Lomi bucket. Measure out about 50mL of water and add this over the pod. You are now ready to start your cycle.

Lomi UK model is 120V with a type G plug.

Your warranty will be void should you use it in a country with a different power adapter.

Lomi measures 16" W x 13" D x 12” H or 228mm W x 388mm D x 314mm H.

Lomi fits comfortably on a kitchen counter and can be slid under cabinets. It's small enough to blend in, but so beautiful that you won't want it to.

Lomi uses a very low amount of electricity, so you won't need to worry about over use! Overall, Lomi uses less than 1kWh on any cycle. 

A kWh (kilowatt-hour) reflects the total amount of electricity used, whereas a kW (kilowatt) reflects the rate of electricity usage. 
Here's a breakdown of electricity usage during each mode:
 
Eco Express: less than 0.60kWh
Lomi Approved: less than 0.75 kWh.
Grow Mode: uses around 1 kWh
 
Please note: The cost of running Lomi will depend on the rate that your community/province/state charges per kWh.

Solar panels + Lomi = The eco-friendly dream team!

If your home is powered by solar energy, Lomi should work just fine. Lomi requires a power supply capable of at least 500W, with the ability to output up to 1.5kWh
If you are confident that your solar energy system can meet these demands, Lomi can absolutely run on solar energy.
